Chester Le Mural Unveiling & bbq
Join us for the official launch of the Chester Le Mural, a community BBQ and a community walk (organized in partnership with SSIP).
The Chester Le Mural will be created on the wall that runs along Victoria Park, between Finch and McNicoll. The mural will depict a narrative told by the Chester Le community and will be created by the youth in Chester Le, along with artist, Adrian Hayles.
Canadian South Asian Growth and Support Services (CSAGSS) in collaboration with TCHC and The University of Toronto Scarborough is pleased to organize MORNELLE FEST-2017 to celebrate diverse culture of Mornelle Court and Morning-side, to know neighbours and celebrate the multiculturalism in the community.
Mornelle Fest-2017 will be held on July 21 to celebrate the diverse population residing in Mornelle Court and Morning side – a perfect time to know your neighbours. This is also a perfect day to celebrate Canada’s 150 years by celebrating with the community, encouraging people to connect with those who live in their neighbourhood and to know the services available in the Mornelle Hub.

The 5th Annual Scarborough Worldwide Film Festival Free Community Opening Day celebrates four short films about local heroes. The event features talks by the local heroes and filmmakers, who will share their thoughts on what makes Scarborough unique.
CommUNITY Walk-a-thon & Festival

Organized by: Malvern Family Resource Centre (MFRC)
Join us on a 5km walk-a-thon and help us reach our goal of $30,000. All proceeds from the Walk-a-thon go towards supporting programs for children, youth, women and seniors. After the walk, join us for a community celebration with fun activities and a Community BBQ.
