A Vogue and Sports Illustrated cover model at 15, Monika Schnarre’s life is a study in contrasts. Teased for her towering height and generous lips at school, Monika was celebrated and highly paid for them as Ford’s Supermodel of the World in 1986 when she was just 14 years old, the youngest ever to win this prestigious award.
Athletic and studious, Monika channelled her unique, high profile opportunity into a wide-ranging career as an author (writing her first book, Monika: Between You and Me, when she was just 18), journalist, television host, actress, and entrepreneur.
The Woburn Collegiate graduate and her husband enjoy flipping properties, and Monika was featured on the covers of This Old House and House and Home. That passion led Monika to her involvement with Habitat for Humanity, where she is an ambassador for their Women Build campaign, encouraging other women to learn building and renovating skills.
The Scarborough native is the creator and CEO of iampure, a beauty and anti-aging product line sold across Canada.
An avid runner and hiker, Monika also supports the Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary in the Muskoka region, and the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto.
